Here at Proud Birth- Doula Service my goal is to give you all the support, attention and knowledge for you to make informed confident decisions about pregnancy/labor and after birth. I can provide support for hospital, birth center and unassisted births. No matter what setting you chose I am here to help you have a birth you are proud of. I am NOT a medical professional and can not preform any medical acts. I instead provide continuous emotional and physical support for you. I will also provide an abundance of resources to get you the answers you need and want about all the decisions that come with pregnancy and birth. I will aid in easing those worries and easing some of that physical pain. Please contact me to learn more. I will answer any questions you may have.

All About Me
Who I Am
Hello I am Kaitlyn! I am first a mother to two beautiful girls and second a Full Spectrum Doula. I am located in Jasper Alabama. I service Walker, Jefferson, Tuscaloosa and Cullman County. I attend hospital, birth center and home births! I am DONA trained and H.E.R.B.A.L certified.
I made the decision to become a Doula when I started my journey on healing from my very traumatic to me birth experience. I did not know about Doulas at the time and boy do I wish I did. I had no one to echo my voice. My wants and needs were tossed to the side. I was laughed at when I suggested I did not want an epidural. I had a forced induction that led to a too fast birth, an unwanted epidural and an overall disappointing birth. 34% fewer Mothers report a negative birth experience when having a Doula. I want that for you! I want you to have the birth that you can say I'm Proud of that Birth experience. I decided to become a full spectrum Doula when I had a hard time navigating being a single pregnant mom of two with a very nauseating pregnancy. I want to be the support I did not have for others.

Prenatal Visits
Informative and Compassionate
I offer Prenatal care or one to two Prenatal visits with birth packages. During prenatal visits we will go over your birth plan and I can provide you with any information you may need. Sometimes a second Prenatal is needed if you need additional resources or to change your plan. I am here for whatever you may need. My goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.
Services
I am a full Spectrum Doula who provides Prenatal, Postpartum and Birth Packages. By 2025 I will also be adding Postpartum kits, Breastfeeding kits, PlacentaPrints, Yoni steam blends and more!
Prenatal Care Packages
$16-35 per hour
Prenatal Care includes unwavering support from Me. I'm available in person 7 days a week- 9am-2:30pm and by text all hours. I am here to support your needs during your pregnancy. Feeling sick? tired?Need me to make you food or go to the store? No partner or family support for that ultrasound? kids driving you mad and just need a bath!? I'm here for what ever it is you may need. Together we will come up with a unique package for YOU on the services I will provide. Available outside of normal hours for appointments.
Birth Package
​Works on a sliding scale
Birth Package Includes: One or two Prenatal appointments. Unlimited text support during all hours I'm awake. An abundance of informational resources. Help writing a birth plan. On call 24/7 starting at 37 weeks. Labor and Birth; Emotional and Physical support. Two Postpartum visits.
Postpartum Packages
$16-35 per hour
Postpartum Care Packages includes text support and in person support 7 days a week. I provide assistance for you and baby. Baby things can include but are not limited to: baby wearing, newborn swaddling, Breastfeeding, changing diapers and more. Some mom things: Laundry, vacuuming, filling the bath, running to the store and more!
